Apple Seeds First Public Betas of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Ventura, and watchOS 9

Apple today seeded the first public betas of its upcoming operating systems, including iOS 18 for the iPhone, iPadOS 18 for the iPad, macOS Ventura for the Mac, and watchOS 9 for the Apple Watch.

Those who aren't registered developers can now test-drive iOS 18 and its new "Apple Intelligence" features when a public beta of macOS Ventura is also available.

The iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 public betas can be downloaded from Apple's beta software program website. The macOS Ventura public beta can be downloaded from the Mac App Store. The watchOS 9 public beta can be downloaded using the Apple Watch app on the iPhone.

Apple typically releases new major software updates in September, so it's likely that iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS Ventura, and watchOS 9 will be released to the public sometime in September.
