Ronald Joseph Corbett "Ron" MacLean (born April 12, 1960) is a Canadian sportscaster for the CBC and Rogers Media. He is best known as the host of Hockey Night in Canada from 1986 to 2014 and again since 2016.

MacLean was born in Zweibrücken, West Germany, where his father was stationed with the Royal Canadian Air Force. The family returned to Canada when MacLean was three years old, and he grew up in Red Deer, Alberta. He played hockey and baseball as a child, and he began his broadcasting career at the age of 15, working as a disc jockey for a local radio station.

In 1982, MacLean joined the CBC as a sports reporter. He quickly rose through the ranks, and in 1986, he became the host of Hockey Night in Canada. MacLean has hosted the show for over 30 years, and he is one of the most recognizable faces in Canadian sports broadcasting.

MacLean has also worked as a commentator for the Olympics, the World Junior Hockey Championship, and the Stanley Cup playoffs. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Gemini Award for Best Sportscaster in 1993, 1994, and 1995.

In 2014, MacLean left Hockey Night in Canada to join Rogers Media. He hosted the show Rogers Hometown Hockey for two seasons before returning to Hockey Night in Canada in 2016.

MacLean is married to Cari and has two children.
